Accommodations: Please see Congress website for accommodations information. The Federation provides a list of accommodations in and around the George Brown College campus, including specially discounted rates for Congress attendees at participating properties. Please note that contracted room blocks will book up quickly due to high demand and reduced rates. These discounted rooms will be available up to 3 days before and after the official Congress dates (May 30 – June 6) pending room availability and individual hotel booking policies. We encourage you to contact hotels directly to confirm availability and reduced rate periods.
Plan Your Trip: Please see the Congress 2025 Plan Your Trip webpage for additional information to plan your conference experience.
Special Events: Please stay tuned in the coming weeks for a draft program and more announcements about special speakers and events we are planning for the Gathering! For now, we are delighted to announce one of our 2025 keynote speakers, Syilx Okanagan author and scholar Jeannette Armstrong.
We invite you to be a part of the annual Renate Eigenbrod Mentorship Lunch, which brings people together at different stages of their journeys in relation to Indigenous literary studies. Registration for this special event will be available soon.
We will also be hosting a Celebration of Books (both new and old!) in our field; stay tuned for information about this event; if you have a new book in Indigenous Literary Studies that you would like to celebrate, please reach out to us at indigenouslsa@gmail.com.
